One of the seven natural wonder of the world.
Standing at 29,035 ft Mount Everest is the undisputed
king of all mountain. The first expedition to
successfully make it to the top was made by Sir
Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgay, in May of 1953;
seven failed attempts had preceded this climb.
To date hundreds of people have died seeking to
scale Mount Everest. Climbing the peak requires
training, expensive equipment, skilled guide,
and of course the risk of death.
