Unless you have an unusual amount of equipment and film you should have no trouble clearing the customs at your destination.
Be Polite
Don't panic and be polite to the custom officers when clearing the custom. Answer their questions with confident and if they need to check your baggages or equipment, open them up and allow them to check.
The X- Ray Scanning Machine
Ideally, film should not be x-rayed and should never be packed in your check-in luggage. Be aware that in many developing countries airports are still using old technology and the dose of the X-Ray may be set at higher than acceptable level.
