Where to stay
Your travelling budget usually determine this, where to stay. It is important that you should pre-book your accommodation before your arrival, especially during peak season, because you do not want to be ended up checking into expensive accommodation when all budget accommodaton are taken up.
Youth hostels

Where to stayAccommodations usually make up a big portion of your budget, therefore choosing a right accommodation at a right place is important. Youth hostels are good places to start with; they are usually located at popular attractions and often provide facilities like common kitchenette, laundry, mess room and reasonably clean dorms. Youth hostels are also good places to meet travellers; you probably meet travellers all over the world but belong to the same age group. This is the best time to learn and exchange travelling information.

Bed and Breakfast

Bed and Breakfast are usually more expensive than hostels, unlike hostels, B&B provide rooms instead of dorms and always a breakfast in the next morning. Be sure to tell the owner that you are a student (if you are one), and ask for a discount, you never know, you might just get one.

Hotels
Depending on its rating, hotels are the most expensive among the above mentioned accommodations. Use them only when you have a lot of excessive fund. However if you are in Las Vegas, USA, you probably will be surprise by the rate of the hotel rooms, YES CHEAP, especially during the weekdays, and off peak season. Food is cheap as well, so don't bother to look for a cheap hostel, look for reasonably affordable hotel and start using their superb facilities.
